  • actions are selected from the possible solutions
  • "Well, what will you do now that is likely to improve the situation?"

8. Ask the teacher for a commitment to a decision. Lead him to select actions that are within his resources, can be implemented in a short period of time, and are concrete.

Remember--this must be the teacher's choice and commitment. Do not be tempted to sway him. Key words are
  • do-able
  • feasible
  • accountable
